Loyola Hostels

HISTORY

HISTORY

When the Jesuits came to Manvi and saw the reality they thought of the best way to liberate the children. There were many children in the villages grazing buffaloes, sheep and goats. Some other children were child labourers. There were many children in devadasi villages left out in the villages. So they started a hostel to give the best education for these deprived classes of the society. In the beginning there were only 40 students in the hostel. Now we have arround 625 students studying in the hostel.
